The energy market is a highly regulated yet dynamic market. Developments in photovoltaics, electrical storage, wind power, heat pumps, electromobility – these are just a few keywords from the industry. Driven by the nuclear phase-out and the fact that more and more consumers are starting to generate their own energy, the electrical industry is facing a systemic transformation.
Electricity Distribution Networks 2030
Knowledge of industry trends is crucial. The key question was: "What can ZVEI do to ensure the system develops in the direction desired by the customer?"
Under this premise, 20 customer-relevant macro-trends were defined – including new energy storage solutions, developments in grid intelligence, and e-mobility. The consumer of 2030 played a crucial role in the trend analysis. With the help of its scouting network, TRENDONE provided valuable impetus for the study's content and delivered worldwide application examples.
A future vision for electricity distribution networks 2030 was developed, focusing on the energy consumption behavior of end-customers.
