Tips for trend research
Regardless of whether you are looking for inspiration or want to keep an eye on your industry and the market environment, with our trend search you always find relevant and cross-industry trends from all over the world and maintain a broad perspective.
To find trends that match your concern, a purposeful search approach is important. You have the option of performing a full-text search, using various filters to specialize the search query, or using the vector search. The vector search allows you to find semantically similar trends to an example text or a description, even when certain keywords do not match exactly. This makes it even easier to discover related trends and gain inspiration from adjacent thematic areas. Using filters offers you the advantage of discovering new areas and becoming aware of relevant trends that might not have come into your focus without using filters. If you search specifically for trends on a particular topic and use the full-text search for this, we advise you to broaden your view of trends in this thematic area to be informed as comprehensively as possible about current and relevant developments. The optimal approach when searching for relevant trends depends strongly on the intention you have with the search.

When searching for inspirational content, you should not search too narrowly, but also let your view roam across industries for new trends. To obtain further search terms for the full-text search, it can be useful, for example, to create a word cloud.
