Radical Game
The Radical Game is a playful idea accelerator. The point is to deliberately combine Micro Trends or innovative building blocks in an original and surprising way.
What you need:
A selection of Micro Trend cards (e.g. as printouts or digital in the workshop), creative minds, and about 60 minutes (optional: pinboard, virtual card wall)
Process
- Preparation: Select the Micro Trends that fit the objective and make them available on cards.
- Lay out the idea chain: One participant starts, places a card in the center, and spontaneously explains an innovative idea for how this trend could be transferred to their own company or field of work.
- Combine radically: Within one minute, others add further cards that they combine with the idea (e.g. „What if we connected this with …?“).
- Capture ideas: If the chain is convincing, the solution is noted on a Post-it and collected in a visible place.
- Pitch and selection: The best ideas are finally presented to the group („elevator pitch“) and reflected on together.
