TRENDONE partners with Gebr. Heinemann to develop concepts for the duty free experience of the future
Gebr. Heinemann is one of the world’s leading distributors and retailers in the duty free market. The company supplies international airports, airlines, cruise ships and border shops in over 100 countries with a portfolio ranging from perfume to sweets.
With over 40 million customers, Gebr. Heinemann constantly has to integrate surprising and eye-catching concepts into the existing points of sale. Together with TRENDONE, Gebr. Heinemann wanted to develop a marketplace concept that would enable customers to experience communicative and interactive highlights at the PoS.
TRENDONE worked with international best cases to inspire the customer to come up with some innovative marketplace concepts, and identified the most promising trends in this sector.
An Ideation Workshop was used to produce the first ideas and approaches for the marketplace of the future. With the help of some advanced methods, the participants and Trendone selected the best and most relevant ideas for Gebr. Heinemann. Concrete concepts were then elaborated step by step that will have a lasting influence on the duty free experience of the future – and make the waiting time until take off fly by.
