Keynote Speaker

Hanne Caspersen

"The future exists in plural, it is our job to understand the multiple plausible and possible futures that might unfold by overcoming our biases. Too many companies and people have a preconceived and fixed idea about their future(s), we need to open up minds and embed futures thinking in individuals and organizations. The future is ours to create!" – Hanne Caspersen

Keynote Topics & Focus Areas

Futures Literacy – Learning to Think About the Future

Futures literacy means integrating foresight and consequences into our thinking. Hanne shows why creative thinking has become the most critical future skill according to the World Economic Forum – and how we can train natural foresight.

Confirmation Bias & Future Thinking

Hanne demonstrates how confirmation bias blocks our thinking and why self-reflection on values and perspectives is essential for foresight. Only those who understand where they come from can perceive developments outside their comfort zone.

Navigating Uncertain Times

Hanne teaches how to train an “elastic mind”: challenging beliefs, embracing uncertainty, seeing mistakes as learning opportunities, tolerating ambiguity, and developing open plans for the unthinkable. Her approach emphasizes empathy, perspective shifts, and flexible scenarios as the best tools to stay capable in turbulent times.

Humans & Technology – Working in the Age of AI

The artificial co-worker is reality. Machines are increasingly taking on tasks, with entire departments like HR and IT already merging (example: Moderna, 2025). Hanne explores the critical question: what role remains for humans? And how can companies prepare for a future where humans and machines collaborate side by side?

Mission Critical – Innovating in Times of Crisis

Crises force organizations to focus on what truly matters. Hanne shows how companies can identify mission-critical topics – such as the current role of AI – and why having a long-term perspective is essential for making the right decisions in the here and now.
