The greatest innovations for your inspiration and orientation
Use micro-trends as a source of inspiration for your business.
TrendONE identifies innovations in all the key markets using an efficient editorial process and then reproduces them in a short, standardised layout – giving our customers a concise overview of the latest trends.
Our worldwide trend scouting network supplies up to 1,500 suggestions every month to the TrendONE editors. The trend analysts at our head office evaluate the suggestions at weekly meetings and identify the 300 most relevant micro-trends.
These 300 micro-trends are published regularly in our Trend Reports and the trend database.
Micro-trends offer our customers not only highly useful information on developments in their fields, but are also a rich source of inspiration for their own ideas and innovations.

- The TrendONE processes at a glance
How do we identify and define a micro-trend? Each micro-trend has to fulfil four criteria:
1. New --- It is essential for the trend to feature a previously unknown element, in the form of an innovation or a significant enhancement.
2. Intelligent --- This criterion examines how much depth the particular trend has and separates it from merely well-presented ideas and gadgets. It must be possible to detect an intelligent concept behind the product.
3. Leading performer --- To be considered as a trend, an innovation must have the potential for mass implementation and be able to adapt to other industries.
4. Structure-changing --- The trend should be capable of making fundamental changes to the way we live. It must be radical.
To sum up: Every month, TrendONE identifies the most relevant cases and innovations and publishes them in a standardised micro-trend format.
